Biography
Francisco Ordonez served as Co-Producer on the film IMPERIUM starring Daniel Radcliffe, Toni Collette, and Tracy Letts. IMPERIUM was released by Lionsgate, from director Daniel Ragussis and Atomic Features.
Born and raised in New York City, Francisco studied Film Directing at the Columbia University School of the Arts. Francisco’s thesis film, “St. Paul” won several awards including Best Short at the Imagen Awards and The HBO NY Latino Film Festival. His second short, “Cookie,” was a Jury Award Nominee at The Tribeca Film Festival.
In 2022, Francisco embarked on his directorial debut, THE LOW-END THEORY, a neo-noir set in Los Angeles's Latinx and LGBTQ+ communities. Atomic Features produced the project in association with Francisco’s production company, Shakti Sol. QED International (District 9, Fury, Dirty Grandpa) acquired global sales rights to the film.
Up next for Francisco is SAINT PAUL, an urban conspiracy thriller about an ambitious college student who infiltrates a dangerous NYC cult to write a thesis paper. The project will be produced by Cristobal Guell, producer of the 2024 Sundance winner, IN THE SUMMERS.
