Francisco Ordonez
Biography
Most recently, Francisco Ordonez served as Co-Producer on the film IMPERIUM starring Daniel Radcliffe, Toni Collette, and Tracy Letts. IMPERIUM was released by Lionsgate, from director Daniel Ragussis and Atomic Features.
Born and raised in Queens, Francisco graduated with a B.A. in Sociology from The City University of New York. He then earned his M.F.A. in Film Directing at the Columbia University School of the Arts, where he was honored as a Film Division Fellow.
Francisco's thesis film, "St. Paul," has won numerous awards, including Best Short at the HBO New York Latino Film Festival, and the IFP Audience Award.
His second short, "Cookie," was a jury award nominee at the Tribeca Film Festival and a Finalist in NBC Universal Shortcuts.
Recently, Francisco has been hired to write PACKS, a crime thriller about the rise of designer marijuana across America into a multi-million dollar illegal drug trade. PACKS will be directed by Daniel Ragussis who also directed IMPERIUM.
Francisco is in post-production on the neo-noir thriller, THE LOW END THEORY, from Atomic Features.
